About Us

Your Property Network

The whole idea of YPN started from a conversation that a small group of property investors had about how much they have spent on learning about property. The numbers ranged wildly from £3,000 to £250,000! When digging deeper into understanding which of those investments were value for money we realized that we relied on word of mouth and there was no one out there giving their impartial opinion about the different models, courses, events, brokers, etc.

As a result our aim is to bring you information and advice from the people, courses and events that we feel are industry leaders and offer exemplary service. This information will be delivered to your doorstep on a monthly basis. We believe that way you won't just delete us from your mailbox and give us a try!

Just so that you know that we really do walk the walk, all of us are active property investors with a combined portfoilio of more than 250 properties built mainly in the last 4 years. We have all done most of the different property models out there: Refurbs, HMO's, Buy to Let, Below Market Value, Property & Land abroad and even City Centre off-plans. As a result we have made some great investments, some not so good and some absolute horrors! It is with this experience that we will come from when giving our opinion.

For our first issue we focused on answering the following question: "With the credit crunch and property prices falling, are there ways out there of making good money on property?" The answer to that question is Yes, the how to go about it may be very different from what you were used to doing. In the following pages we will be talking to people that are successful in today's market and ask them to share their strategies with us. We also speak to mortgage brokers so that they can help you understand how the future is panning out. Finally we look at an ever present problem that is getting worse: Problem tenants.

So thanks again for taking the time to read us and please let us know your opinion and what you would like to see us covering by emailing me at: editor@yourpropertynetwork.co.uk

Enjoy,
